As large families will know, taking the kids to cinema isn’t exactly stress-free. For parents who would rather enjoy a cinema-like experience at home, a Sky HD Box might be the answer. You can forget about forking out for expensive snacks and waiting in line, as all you need can be right there in you living room. What’s more, the Sky HD Box offers so much control that you needn’t worry about missing a second due to interruptions.
The HD Box puts parents in the driving seat. The handy controls allow you to pause and rewind Live TV as it happens, so if you’re settling down to watch a movie but get interrupted, you can just stop where you are and come back to it when you’re ready. This will certainly be useful with young children who can’t sit still for long! You can also record programmes, including movies, so you can choose your own viewing time.
The HD Box requires the HD Pack. This gives you 50+ channels of programmes and movies filmed in amazing High Definition. This means that you’ll have plenty to choose from, on top of your original subscription. The HD Pack costs an extra £10.25 per month for existing customers, with an upgrade for the box being totally free. At the moment, new customers who join the service online will get the box and installation cost-free, plus a £50 M&S gift voucher.
To get the whole selection of Sky movies, all customers need to do is choose, or switch to, the Movies in HD Pack. This gives customers all 12 movie channels featuring hundreds of the most recent cinematic releases. The genres range from drama and comedy, to kids and foreign films, so there’ll always be something to suit everyone in the family.
